Call for Expressions of Interest: Advisory Panel on Cancer Literacy
TASC is seeking women from marginalised and disadvantaged backgrounds to join an Advisory Panel for a research project on cancer literacy in Ireland.
This project aims to understand how women from marginalised communities access, understand, and use cancer-related information. The findings will help shape policy recommendations to improve cancer literacy and healthcare access.
We are currently recruiting 2-3 women with lived experience to join the Advisory Panel, working alongside professionals in cancer literacy. The role involves attending 4-6 online or hybrid meetings between April 2025 and April 2026, with financial compensation provided (€200).No prior research experience is required—your lived experience is your expertise. We encourage applications from women in diverse marginalised groups, including ethnic minorities, disabled women, LGBTI+ women, women experiencing homelessness or addiction, and those from lower-income backgrounds.
