Sharing the People’s Transition in Malmö
TASC and Waterford Area Partnership were invited to showcase the People's Transition project in Larchville and Lisduggan at this year's OECD - OCDE Local Development Forum in Malmö. The Forum brings together thousands of policy makers and practitioners worldwide. It not only fosters peer learning and exchange but also acts as a bridge between the OECD and local communities, creating a platform for mutual engagement.
TASC Researcher and Community Engagement Coordinator for Climate Justice Róisín Greaney represented TASC, discussing community-led development for climate justice with policymakers and practitioners from around the world.
TASC Participates in Roundtable Discussion on Financial Coercion Support
Yesterday in Athlone, TASC took part in a roundtable discussion focused on how the banking sector can better support victims of financial coercion. This event was organised by the Irish Banking and Culture Board in collaboration with Safe Ireland.
During the discussion, TASC presented its Financial Resilience Training programme, specifically designed for Domestic Violence Services. This initiative aims to equip survivors with the tools they need to rebuild their financial well-being and regain control over their finances.
