TASC Annual Report 2023
We are excited to present TASC’s Annual Report for 2023, showcasing our progress in promoting equality, democracy, and social justice across Ireland. This year, we made significant strides in addressing societal challenges through impactful research, public education, and strategic partnerships.
Key Highlights of 2023:
People’s Transition Expansion: We advanced to Phase II of the People’s Transition, empowering communities in Roscommon, Mountbellew, and Enniscorthy to lead in climate action and social justice, ensuring no one is left behind in the green transition.
Health Inequality Focus: We deepened our commitment to health inequality, collaborating on projects like the NEIC Healthy Communities Programme and assessing migrant health needs, highlighting the importance of equitable healthcare for all.
Influential Research: Our reports, including The State We Are In 2023 and EU fiscal rule analyses, provided critical insights into income inequality, poverty, and pressing policy issues at both national and European levels.
Collaborative Partnerships: Notable collaborations, such as with Aviva and IBCB on Financial Resilience Training, expanded our reach, providing essential support and resources to communities and frontline workers.
Commitment to Public Education: Our public education efforts, focusing on climate justice, financial empowerment, and democratic participation, ensured that communities were equipped to address today’s complex challenges.
As we enter the next phase of our Strategic Priorities 2022-2027, we remain committed to fostering progressive change and deepening our impact. We invite you to explore our 2023 Annual Report and join us in building a more just and inclusive society.
