Shana Cohen Pens Letter to the Editor on Climate Change Needing a Just Transition

On May 1, 2019, TASC Director Shana Cohen penned a letter to the editor in the Irish Times as a response to the Irish Times' feature on Norman Crowley's call for inventions not government will provide solutions.  Cohen counters that inventions alone are not the answer; for climate change to be tackled it must be done by giving thought to all affected by climate change. This must be done through a just transition.   A "just transition" is, as Cohen puts it, "the idea of involving people in the decisions that must be made to address climate change and then working collectively in moving forward."
